Jojoba oil has a high level of ceremides (molecules that hold skin cells together, forming a protective layer that plumps the skin and retains moisture). It is a very effective acne treatment, as it is absorbed deeply into the skin, and also protects the skin from harsh climate conditions. The oil can be used to slow the aging process, and promote hair growth.
Calendula- Calendula is a magickal flower. Anti-inflammatory to skin and mucosa, helps to move lymph, promotes healing of damaged tissue, is Anti-fungal and Anti-bacterial, can help stimulate menstrual flow and is both warming (important for women) and drying.
